My first experience of getting my air ducts cleaned was phenomenal. Pedro explained exactly how the process was along with a demonstration. Each duct was cleaned & hand washed along with sanitizing & roto brushing. Pedro & Jerry were exceptionally kind and courteous during the entire process. There was no cell phone stopping to talk; strictly devoted working. They called before & arrived on time. I had a carbon UVL light installed to help eliminate future mold ect. Ben (supervisor, very impressive) gave me an estimate that was half of what another company had quoted for cleaning out our attic duct work. He said we didn't need a lot of the "upsell" in the other quote.  Ben showed me what he thought we needed versus not; he took a lot of pictures and sent them to me. He also added a couple of minor items to his quote at no charge. On the day, Pedro (technician, young guy, very sharp) called ahead to let me know that he and a helper (didn't get his name) were inbound. They got in and out quickly. Pedro showed me what they'd done and explained. He took lots of pictures and a couple of videos and sent them to me. Ben dropped by to check on things. I asked Pedro if Top Star also did HVAC work (our longtime guy retired). He said no but he'd send me a name. Job went very well from the initial trip for Henry & Johhny to review & provide a written estimate to the post job cleanup and wipe down. (Even put foot coverings on for the estimate walk through) Work included cleaning the AC plenum areas, to removing the vents/registers in the individual rooms.  Furniture and flooring were covered to keep things clean of any dirt and debris.  The time estimate was also spot on and they were prompt at providing day before reminders, an "on the way" notification, up to the actual arrival time. I purchased an old house with a neglected attic. There was a constant foul and musty smell up there and the smell did seep down to the house. It made living in the house a daily struggle. I decided to give Top Star Air Pros a try. Mr. Henry came and did a thorough inspection on the attic. He discovered many serious problems with it such as worn-out insulation infested with dead rodents, cracks and gaps that leaked air down to the house, a broken dryer vent that blew lint on the attic, mold developed on the AC unit...etc. After some discussions, I decided to get the attic sanitation, new insulation, and dryer vent cleaning services from them. Mr. Henry managed to get me a good discount too. Two days after the initial inspection, Top Star sent their crews to my house. They were incredibly thorough and detailed with their works. Old nasty insulation was removed completely, the entire attic was cleaned and mold was treated, all gaps and cracks were properly sealed with foam, the dryer vent was cleaned and sealed completely, new insulation was installed at the proper 13 inch depth. They even installed an attic entry thermal cover to stop air leakage from that area. I am beyond impressed with Top Star Air Pros. They practically save my attic and my house no longer has that foul musty smell. I also notice the AC system doesn't have to constantly run all the time like in the past few months. I had Top Star Air Pros come to my home for an estimate for cleaning my duct work after they had worked at my neighbor’s home. I was not able to schedule it until five months later as I had to fit it into my budget. The free estimate that they gave me remained valid. Everything went well in my home, so I referred them to another neighbor. In this home, the old installation from the ducts was falling onto the living room floor, which was the reason the owner hired them. I stood in for my neighbor who was traveling at that time while Pedro and Roy from Top Star Air Pros cleaned the duct work. One week later, I emailed Keila at Top Star and told her bits and pieces of old installation was still falling onto  the floor. This time, Pedro and another worker, Jared, came out. Pedro taped a thin cloth-like material inside the vent cover to collect the debris before it could come out of the vent. This was a temporary fix and Pedro said he would come back out in two weeks and remove the material and check on that particular vent again. That happened today. So, Pedro and Jared returned. Pedro removed the material and also removed some old installation that I pointed to just inside the vent opening that was sticking upward but still attached before he placed the vent cover back on. Pedro said to call if large pieces began to hit the floor again but the smaller pieces if at all should be minimal going forward. I asked Pedro if this is common for repeat calls like this and he said no, it is rare but sometimes it does happen. Pedro texted me with an estimated time of arrival each time he came out. All of the employees I dealt with, from Keila, Pedro, Roy, and Jared were polite, friendly, prompt, and professional with me. Pedro, Roy, and Jared wore foot booties when working in our homes.
